Common questions
The things people ask on the first call, answered before you have to.
How quickly can you start?
Audits usually start within two weeks. Build engagements depend on who is rolling off; we will give you a real date on the first call rather than a hopeful one.
What does an audit cost?
A two-week architecture audit is a fixed fee, quoted before we begin, and you keep the findings document whether or not you continue with us.
Do you work with our existing team?
Always. We work in your repositories, your CI, and your on-call rotation. If your team is not involved, the handover fails and we have wasted your money.
What if our stack is a mess?
That is generally why people call. We have never opened a codebase and been surprised. Bring it as it is; the audit exists precisely to map the mess before anyone proposes a fix.
Can you sign our NDA and security paperwork?
Yes. We work under client NDAs routinely and can complete vendor security reviews. Send the paperwork with your first message and we will start it in parallel.
What happens to the work when you leave?
You get architecture decision records, runbooks, and paired on-call until your team is comfortable. We taper out on a scheduled date rather than disappearing.
